The Ambient Weather WS-2000 is a comprehensive local and remote weather monitoring package. The high-definition, full color TFT LCD display is easy to read, day or night, and includes both light and dark background options.
The console wirelessly receives data on wind speed, direction, rainfall, temperature, humidity, UV, and solar radiation from the outdoor sensor array. It can also receive barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature from the optional indoor sensor (sold separately). The dynamic color display combines the measured parameters with calculated data, such as "Feels Like" Temperature (Wind Chill and Heat Index), Dew Point, 10-Minute Wind Speed and Direction, Sunrise/Sunset, Moon Phase, Forecast, and more. The multi-screen display also includes NIST internet time server synchronization, imperial and metric units, high/low alarm conditions with audible alerts, calibration of all major parameters, and real-time internet weather publishing.
Forge connections within the weather enthusiast community by linking your Ambient Weather station to the Ambient Weather Network (AWN). This interactive platform empowers you to customize your online dashboard and freely share your real-time weather data with the AWN community. Join like-minded individuals passionate about weather observation and analysis to exchange insights and be part of a community that shares your enthusiasm.
Add your personal weather station to the map and create your own hyperlocal forecast for the community. Customize your dashboard, organize your tiles, and label your sensors. You can select radar, wind, or temperature layers, and even view time-lapse videos from local weather cameras.
The Ambient Weather app provides an incredibly detailed and hyper-local view of current conditions, with information about localized temperature, "feels like" temperature, humidity, pressure, windspeed, and precipitation levels. Set up email or text alerts for high and low conditions, visualize your data with graphs, or download CSV files for deeper analysis.
The Ambient Weather skill for Alexa and Google Assistant allows you to get real-time and past weather information from your personal weather station. The AmbientWeather server also features a handy timeline for tracking IFTTT triggered web services, applets, and connected devices.
Developers can retrieve real-time and historical weather station data in JSON format, or build third-party apps to access data from multiple devices. Connect to the world's largest personal weather station network, Weather Underground, as well as WeatherCloud and WeatherBug.
The wireless sensor array mounts to any pole between 1.25 and 2 inches in diameter, with a solar panel as the primary power source and optional battery backup. The console connects to your Wi-Fi network, and the WS-2000 also supports various optional sensors for expanded monitoring capabilities.
